Statistics suck and guys are setting themselves up for failure.
P value of .05? My pussy value is infinite!
I hate statistics. I openly mock people, whether I agree with their conclusions or not for using them. By the end you’ll see why, and why men are setting themselves up for failure by using them, and how it’s all a proxy for being afraid of female disapproval.

Statistics
The entire field of statistics is based on around the idea that we can quantify, extrapolate from, and analyze various types of data. Based on data, we can draw conclusions and inferences with which we can adjust our actions and behaviors. And just like watching a Canadian politician hand wave their failures to govern by preaching about their good intentions, it’s just as much a waste.
The greatest quote that has ever been uttered about statistics is
Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
Statistics done poorly are probably the easiest way to bullshit a story to convince yourself of whatever you want to convince yourself of. Throw a bunch of scenarios together, do some cross correlations and t-tests and viola, you have a P value that’s less than .05, and now you have publishable results.
P Value, if you don’t know, is a value of how much of something can be related to random chance versus the thing you want to study. A P value of 1 in random chance, and a P value of 0 is no chance at all. When you look at SCIENCE! They look for a P value of .05 for their fancy science magazines. It’s an arbitrary decision, no law saying that requiring anything better isn’t better. And of course there’s a bunch of tricks you can do to pad your P value, which are outside of the scope of what I’m saying here, but know that you can trust it about as much as you can trust that Indian used car salesman to get you a good deal, my friend.
And this is where you come in.
Married guys are using their wives as the sole metric of whether or not they are becoming more attractive. I know this because I talk to guys who are working on having subpar sexlives. Guys lie to themselves. They find one of a million self help spaces who promise to make you into your best self. Guys start out. They say they are doing it ‘for me’ but stop the moment they get a little sex, before reverting to their old selves and lose it again. The wives trust the ‘new you’ less and the cycle repeats, only harder each time. Guys say they are their mental point of origin (an RP term) but say that their wives are getting neurotic and that they should stop trying to be more attractive, which is required. Being more masculine and attractive means your wife or girlfriend will get more feminine and neurotic. I read their stupidity as,
“Hi. I have become more attractive and my wife is acting like more of a woman. How can I fix this?”
I don’t know the reason, but guys are either bred, trained, or instinctively looking for women who are men in all ways but pussy. They sign up for something that talks about self-actualization, narcissism (and the selfishness that comes with it) then use their wives current emotional state to decide if it’s a pass or fail.
How many guys approach other women for reasons? How many men use the wife’s responses to gauge how they’re doing and whether or not their sexual market value (SMV) is actually improving - whether that’s looks, confidence, personality, or otherwise?
I’d be willing to bet it’s more than a handful on the latter and barely any on the former.
Guys love to be spreadsheet men, and I’d like to meet them on their turf for this, this is what they are actually doing
Spreadsheet Man
My husband and I have been together for 5 years, married for 2 of those years. We just bought a house 5 months ago. No kids yet. Our lives have been crazy busy though. We spent all spring renovating our new house. At my job I was given nearly double my usual workload after some of my colleagues were laid off. I gained some weight in the winter and have …
They are drawing conclusions and inferences based on a single data point. They’re asking a question about a population based on a single sample. For guys who pride themselves on rationality, it’s ridiculous. An early question I ask men: is the problem that your wife won’t fuck you, or that no woman will? And with a single data point, do you know what the margin of error is?
98%.
That’s so wide as to be totally and utterly meaningless. If there were 10,000 women that were your target audience, you would need to interact with 370 of them to draw a conclusion with a 5% margin of error on the 95% confidence interval. We have PHD’s in statistics who work on sexology stuff with us, so the numbers check out, or so I’m told.
In order to know how you’re doing, you’d need to interact with that many women to figure out what percent of them might actually find you attractive. This means that if you’re one of the guys who is deciding to let his wife be the arbiter of whether or not his SMV is increasing, you’re doomed by dubious statistical interpretation. I can tell you this, you can agree on an intellectual level, but you’ll do this anyways. I’m hopeful that a guy can at least have the self awareness to know he’s doing it.
Rollo Tomassi writes extensively on the gynocentric social order, and uses examples of everyday norms to show how it manifests in our lives. Whether religion, social pressure, the Damocles sword of legal and financial ruin (and yes, this is a real and purposeful set of policies that women have made) the end result is in making it harder for men to talk amongst each other, or test hypothesis on their own aka being a flirt.
Even now, the religious good girl reading this will have a fit. She’s not a bad wife, the only reason guys would want to do this is because they are horndog psychopaths, and you should never talk to another woman with lust in your heart. Secular religions (read: feminists or Canadians) will bitch and moan about age gaps: She was only 25, basically a child! And men who are either too valueless or scared will invent moral imperatives to demand the men who stand a chance to sit down and stop trying.
It’s all sexual competition via cutting down the tall trees. We don’t think of it that way, but we don’t think about how to keep our heart beating either, so your instincts don’t care about your feelings.
In Frame, I write about Killology, or the science of being more effective in war. Summarizing, we have learned that bypassing our moral squeamishness is more effective than trying to change it. So saying that, I had a strategy I tell guys so they can better assess their own SMV. Categorize all the different types of interactions between you and a woman, from smiling and making eye contact to full on sex. You’re comfortable smiling at a stranger, you are comfortable saying hello. You’re comfortable making idle chitchat, maybe even casually flirting. Eventually there’s a line where you get uncomfortable. It’s a different line for all of us. For me, I keep it simple: nothing down the throat, nothing up the skirt. Once you have that line you can do anything up to that point with the confidence that you’re not breaking your unconditional trust with the woman who may or may not have a headache on your birthday.
The best example I’ve read from the guys is a man, in a hotel room with a woman during work conference. He was talking dirty, suggesting he turn the remote for the TV into a dildo and she was laying on her bed getting wet thinking about it. Then he left. I’ll be impressed if any of you get anywhere close to this before you start sweating. The thing about that guy though, is he had the confidence and knowledge about his self worth to stop accepting duty sex from his wife, taking rejections better, and receiving less of them. There’s a hundred tells that guys have when they definitely fuck, and you can’t fake them. We can’t even describe them. Our lizard brain is hyper aware of them, though.
And the thing with creating a bypass, is we can now collect data, and build male self esteem. We work differently than women. Women are intrinsically valuable, ie eggs are expensive and sperm is cheap. Most of what counts for female self esteem is just believing in themselves and letting male thirst do the heavy lifting. Guys don’t work like that. It’s why talk therapy is useless, communication is useless, and feelings don’t count. We have to achieve things. Things outside our comfort zone. Each time we do it increases our esteem, and emboldens us to achieve better things. It’s a feedback look and it’s the only way we work.
A couple smiles and winks turn into a couple conversations leads to ‘accidental’ brushing up against our arm leads to a girl covertly handing us a phone number at the neighborhood barbecue. A guy never has to worry about accidentally straying from his marriage. He has his line and when he reaches it just has to stop escalating. Women don’t get to do that either. Their experience with sex is a series of ‘no’ gates. The guy initiates, they just have to not say no. A guy escalates, a girl just has to not say no. A guy has to take her into the bedroom and she only has to not say no. Guys have to make everything happen every step of the way. Some guys complain about it, but it’s the best thing in the world and is why I would never want to be a woman. Everything that happens to us is because we willed it to happen.
So accidentally cheating on your wife is as asinine as accidentally getting a bodybuilder physique after hitting the gym for the first time. And after collecting enough data, you’re able to confidently answer the question I asked earlier. It’s definitely the wife that won’t fuck you, and there’s a list of women who would gladly explore replacement options with you. Guys act differently when they have options, and women pick up on the subtle tells that they fuck, can fuck, or will fuck if she doesn’t want to.
Someone else wanting to fuck her man is better than spanish fly.
And if you’re too worried about accidentally cheating, or your woman getting anxious, or crying or getting mad; if her emotional state is a threatpoint that keeps you in line, you’ll probably want to study up on Bayesian Statistics and figure out how to draw inferences from consecutive events. From those instances, you’ll probably want to assess the changing probabilities of the frequency of said events. I am not the man to explain what any of that is, and how to achieve it. I hate statistics.
And don’t get me wrong, your woman will get mad. She will cry, she will yell at you, she may try to baffle you with bullshit into evading your own personal quest to understand your value, improve your value, and capitalize on your value. Ignore that. If she was really concerned about your sexlife she would be a willing and enthusiastic participant in it. She would stop taking the desire killing SSRI’s. She would stop having headaches, she would avoid 3 week long periods. She would fuck, well and often.
And if not, well you have the statistics to back it up, you’re not the problem, she is. There’s solutions to be had, and if you value yourself enough to use them, can be happy, or at least content, with them. Thankfully, your fidelity is now a choice, instead of chains that are placed upon you by a woman afraid of losing you, and you, afraid of angering the fertility god wearing sweatpants and harboring a bitchy attitude.

Statistically, there's a better than 80% chance we'll die in the end, so why risk living?
didn't read the whole thing. is it fair to sum up as "it's a numbers game"?
